From hull and cargo to complex construction and offshore risk, marine insurance covers a lot of ground. Our team brings deep technical expertise to every placement, whatever the vessel, the voyage, or the value at stake, so brokers and clients always work with people who genuinely understand the risk.

Global capacity across both direct and facultative reinsurance placements, in lead, co-lead or following positions. The core book centers on offshore and specialist craft and contractors’ tonnage. This is complemented by trade vessels, such as tankers, bulk carriers, container vessels and FSO/FPSO units. We’re equally at home with passenger and niche risks: cruise and passenger vessels, offshore support and supply craft, tugs and barges, research vessels fitted with overboard equipment, floating fish farms, single delivery voyages and towage. Builders risk, land-based plant, inland hull and cargo extensions are available alongside the primary placement.

Focused on larger inland fleet accounts across continental Europe. The book leans toward cargo-carrying and contracting craft, complemented by passenger risks — river cruise vessels and ferries — plus tugs and barges, underwritten with the same technical discipline as our ocean hull book.

Newbuilding, refit and SRL risk written globally, with capacity offered on a direct and reinsurance basis. We offer lead, co-lead and following positions. Particular strength lies in complex, higher-value projects — naval vessels (both surface and submarine), cruise ships, offshore units, research vessels and yachts — across all tonnage types, extending to the associated delivery voyage and cargo exposure.

A direct line focused on the Dutch market, covering heavy-lift equipment, mobile and port cranes, contractors’ plant, excavators, agricultural machinery and rental or lease fleets. Selection is driven by track record and profitability rather than premium volume, and we look for higher retentions alongside disciplined maintenance and technical management.

Driven by a senior underwriting team focused on Western Europe — Benelux, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Spain — with a worldwide commodities book alongside it. We build the portfolio outward from demanding trade and commodity risk into general cargo, logistics and political violence, applying the same underwriting discipline throughout.
